With over a decade mated to multiple sclerosis, and the last four years a full-time wheelchair user, I can’t overemphasize how important this little doodad is to my relative autonomy. With little sense of balance, but decent remaining upper body strength, this, my transfer board and a little prayer allows me to do an unassisted transfer. Even if your upper body strength is weakened, the BedCane will give you and your caregivers some needed help.
