After seeing that this was the cheaper of the few, I was kinda skeptical about the quality. Well after installing the shaver foil and going to town, I believe that it is actually BETTER than the one that came with the unit. Awesome!
Like everyone else says, works better than the stock blade it comes with. I reluctantly ordered this blade because it says BG2000, and mine is a BG2020, but the box it comes in says it’s compatible with models ranging from BG2020 to 2029, so aside from the weird naming scheme, this thing is great.
I have been using the shaver now for a while and i noticed one thing right off the bat. The shaving head foil is very weak and you shold be very careful with it or it can get pushed into the shaver. that doesnt bother me to much cause i use it with a gaurd on it anyway. i thought i was needing an new head so i got one and reliezed that really all i needed was to charge the shaver after every use…i needed one anyway cause the foil was pushed inside it
This replacement shave head for the Phlilps/Norelco Bodygroom shaver is far superior to the one that came with the razor. The original had a rather flimsy foil that warped out of shape with normal use, refused to stay in place on the head and kept popping loose at either end.
The new replacement head is better made: the shave foil itself is of a superior weight and thickness and stays in place within the head. It also has a better array in the shaving ‘grid’ to do a more thorough – and comfortable job of hair removal.
My only complaint is that the entire head unit doesn’t stay on the razor as well as the original did – seems to be a looser fit. It is quite easy to dislodge the head while shaving, or while removing one of the comb attachments.
I still would recommend this product. It’s the best I’ve found for the job, which it does well.
