Not really a gel, more liquid. Mild tingling as expected with an acid. It is getting difficult to find Salicylic Acid in decent strengths OTC, so I made this choice. Directions are good. I may mix it with aloe vera gel to make a gel for PM spot use. Good product–be sure to follow directions, this is not like the OTC products. Price is not bad considering the cost of much more diluted products.
I really needed to get the appearance of my skin improved! I had innumerous old and new acne scars specially on my back. When I bought this product I thought it was gonna work overnight miracle, but it didn’t. My skin didn’t get worse at first like many say, but it did peel for days after like if I had been on the beach for a long time, and I was able to leave it on only for a few min. Now after 4 months treating with this product I can even leave it on my skin for hours, and guess the results i see now? GREAT difference!!! Im so happy and thats why I decided to write a review to help others. My skin is sooo smooth and 90% clear of the old darker and newer red scars! I just love it!
